It all begins with the
Genesis Project
The Genesis project is a four week online course that is designed to provide a Biblical foundation for an approach to finance. They begin the first Tuesday of each month with a total of four sessions.
The sessions include:
“Faith and Finance”
The Bible speaks more about money than almost any other topic. This session focuses on a Biblical approach to financial thinking as well as to cover the most common mistakes Christians make when dealing with money.
“Regaining Stewardship”
The Bible places the responsibility of stewardship on each one of us. We are responsible for the decisions that we make. This session is focused on providing the tools to regain financial control. During this session we discuss establishing a spending plan, personality styles and money, as well as, relating with your spouse.
“Debt Elimination”
Debt is the number one cause of divorce. Most families never seem to achieve debt freedom. Through this session we will be discussing how debt is created, the different kinds of debt, dealing with interest, as well as, beginning to ask the right questions. After attending this class, we encourage our families to fill out a debt analysis form so that we can help them plan a debt elimination strategy.
“Your Financial Reputation – Credit”
According to the news, over 80% of all credit reports contain errors. These errors can be corrected. During this session we focus on obtaining a “free” copy of your credit report and understanding how it is read. Here we reveal the hidden secrets of making your report accurate and improving your credit score.
These sessions are done webinar style. To take advatage of the classes all you need is a *computer, internet access and speakers or headphones. To protect your privacy, only the presenter knows who is in attendance. This allows you to particulate anonymously.
Our goal is to make the Genesis courses available to everyone. Because of that we are pleased to offer all of these courses for one fee. The complete cost for all four sessions is $20.00 per family.
